Buying criteria
Questions
Mount the baffle so its bottom edge is about 4–5 feet off the ground, on a pole at least 8–10 feet from anything a squirrel can jump from (Audubon).
A cone baffle should be at least 17 inches in diameter (Audubon).
Only stovepipe (cylinder) baffles designed for raccoons; cone baffles are mainly for squirrels.
